Thanks

there is one floating around.. though i myself own a copy, and all i have to say is be careful about messing around witha digital version of this book. it bites serious styles, and it does not like being digital at all. that all i reall y have to say. as for paying a large sum, i paid $800 for mine, and it was worth every penny and more... it is the nicest most magickal book i own. i had to pay in staggered sums over a period of 5 months to afford it, but it was well worth it.

anyways, just a friendly warning to you. it does bite, and not to be treated with ill respect (that is if you manage to find the copy that if floating around...)

I feel ever so glad I bought mine at $250. Since then, I have committed to buy all new works as soon as they come out, now matter how expensive they appear. My logic at the time to justify this expense was based on the illustrations alone; what price would a first edition Beardsley command today? (and I regard the illustrations as comparable).

I was also lucky enough to find a GOETIA at $15 (sells for $300 routinely on ebay); but have since then sought out todays publishers publishing tomorrows rare books. I recommend trident books, ouroboros press, and esoteric endeavour.

To this day I have not regretted my purchase of Azoetia. It truly is a masterpiece to compare with works by AOS.

The fact that Chumbley has died before his time, with a consequent 100% appreciation in value of his works, just pisses me off, in that now Qutub is beyond my reach.

I recommend to everyone to grab hold of the wonderful first run books now available, in wonderful, leatherbound editions; BEFORE they go up in value. Picatrix at ouroboros press; the new abramelin and magicians tables at wieser; anything at trident; and anything at esoteric endeavour.

Build yourself a library you can be proud of for mere thousands, before they, like Azoetia, go out of your reach.

pdf's are no comparison; not on a mundane level, nor on an esoteric level.

Buy a cheaper car, and spend it on 20 first editions.

Well, Rapidshare has apparently deleted Azoetia.

So....if any nice person out there would like to trade the Azoetia .pdf for a .pdf of Qutub (or any other .pdf in my collection), please contact me.

        Hey Saul:

I have all of the Solomonic-type grimoires, Agrippa, Secret Rituals of the OTO, Franz Bardon's books, Crowley, Alchemy books, some ONA and Luciferian stuff, Chaos, etc. I also have some recent doctoral dissertations that may be of interest to occult-minded folks (i.e., a few dissertations on Kabbalah, Hoodoo, witchcraft, etc.). If anyone is interested in something that I might have, let me know and I'll put it up.

P.S. Thanks in advance Louis for putting some books up.

we all probably have very similar collections!

what I am really looking for are the Picatrix and the Grant books that are impossible to get reasonably.

gawd I hate reading pdf's tho. better than nothing but there is just no replacement for dead trees as of yet.

hmm.. I've gotten used to it over the years... reading off of a laptop while you're laying on the couch is much easier than having to sit a desk to read.

that's true. the laptop angle certainly helps but they need to get some workable e-paper

I am fully into printing out key works, even if I own the hard copies
because i find them great to write notes on and underline
and write ideas on the back of pages, if i really want to keep the
original in great condition. Most of my paperbacks I really mark up.
                  cheers

that's true but it takes SO LONG to print out and I've always been the "sneak copies at work" type....

are any of these books not in the massive "esoteric books" file that
has 7 folders fiction, fourth way, shamanism, teachings x 4?
        thanks
