using sound is fun :)

i really like seeing bands play live. if it's a band i really get into, i totally go to that no mind (now mind) place where all desire leaves me and i am so in the moment. i realized i was wasting perfectly good trance time so i brought a sigil drawn on a piece of paper with me the next time i went to a show (sleepytime gorilla museum). i held it in my hand as i listened and moved with the music. when i got to that space, i took out the sigil, looked at it/through it, felt it leap out into the void, and dropped it into the throng of sweaty rock and rollers crowded around the stage. not only was it fun, i saw results.

The "Drunken Dervish":

Create sigil before going out drinking

Get outrageously drunk

Pull out paper with sigil and hold at arms length (eye level) with both hands

spin while focussing on sigil until no-mind

Launch by lighting paper on fire and throwing it in the air

Banish with cackling.
